WHAT IS INCLUDED IN RENT?

Rent includes your individual room, cable, and internet.

are utilities included?

Utilities are not included in the base rent, but we do offer a $50 utility package that covers electricity and water services.

how much is rent?

Depends on the unit type. You can find our rates on our Floor Plans page.

Do i have to move out over christmas & summer break?

The Cottages at Lake Tamaha does not require our residents to vacate the community during Christmas and summer break. You can stay in your apartment all year.

how long does it take to get approved for housing?

We generally have up to a 48-hour turn around time for all leasing approvals.

are the apartments fully furnished?

We offer fully furnished cottages for an additional cost of $40 per month.

Where/how late does the private shuttle run?

The Crimson Ride comes to The Cottages weekdays from 7am-9pm in 30-minute intervals. We also offer our private shuttle that runs Thursday 10:30pm-2:30pm, Friday from 10:30pm-3:30am and Saturday from 10:30pm-2:30am. Our private shuttle also takes you to and from the football stadium during all home games.

Can i bring my cat or dog?

We are a pet friendly community. An animal addendum and $300 pet fee is required. Roommates are also required to sign the addendum, consenting to the animal
living in the cottage.

can i use financial aid to qualify to live at the cottages?

Yes, we allow Financial Aid as a way to qualify to live with us.
